American Quarter Horse Association World Championship Show working cow horse finalists are now eligible to show at the 2011  National Reined Cow Horse Association World Championship Show.

The NRCHA board of directors voted in August to extend an invitation to the AQHA World Championship Show finalists in the working cow horse class. This action follows a previous decision by the NRCHA board to invite youth finalists from the 2011 Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show to compete at the NRCHA World Championship Show.

“Our purpose in doing this was to encourage AQHA members to come and compete in the NRCHA,” said NRCHA board member Sam Rose.

The  NRCHA World Championship Show will be January 28 – February 5, 2012, in San Angelo, Texas.  AQHA World Championship Show working cow horse finalists will be contacted after the conclusion of the AQHA World Show. The Bank of America Amateur AQHA World Championship Show is held in conjunction with the FedEx Open AQHA World Championship Show November 5-19 in Oklahoma City.
