Eight-time World Champion Team Roper Rich Skelton is the latest addition to the group of equestrian professionals that comprise the Prime Performance Nutrition Team. Setting the record for the most consecutive team roping world titles Skelton has two million dollars in earnings to his credit.

“Prime Performance Nutrition is honored to team up with such an accomplished horseman as Rich. It is a testament to what Maxum HA can do when someone like Rich comes to us after trying the product,” says Prime Performance Nutrition President, Jeff Butler.

A dominating force in team roping since he joined the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) in 1986, Skelton has also ridden two horses that were named AQHA/PRCA Heel Horse of the Year. His great gelding “Roany” was awarded this prestigious title in 1997, ’98, ’99 and 2001. In 2004, Pets Ten aka “Chili Dog” also achieved this award.

“I started my horse Gambler on Maxum HA and it didn’t take him very long to feel the difference. Now all my horses get Maxum HA – young and old,” says Skelton.

Skelton lives in Llano, Texas where he holds an annual Rope for the Gold roping. The sport of team roping requires close cooperation and timing between two highly skilled ropers, a header and heeler. He teaches these skills to heelers across the country during his six day roping clinics.
