has been awarded to:
Fort Worth Dressage Club – Teresa Deeter
Tri-State Dressage Society – board member Marsha Murray.
Each GMO will receive $500. for travel expenses to the 2009 USDF National Convention in Austin, once the criteria is met.

Jan Brink Symposium information. We understand it will be the best symposium ever !!! So plan on attending !!!!
There will be a “Trade Fair” at the symposium !!!!!
Lone Star Welcome Party: Sponsored by CTDS, & HDS. Wednesday evening- 6:15 to 7:45, at TGI Fridays, next to the host hotel.
Volunteers Needed for the Convention Convention help includes: • USDF Registration Booth (assist with check in & registration) • Welcome to Austin Booth (info on area and attractions) • Collect tickets for educational sessions (can attend sessions that you work!) and • Gala/Awards banquet …and additional tasks as needed.
Symposium help includes: • Barn Managers – point of contact for riders for entire symposium (4-5 days) • Footing crew – prior to symposium a team needed to uncover footing • Ring Crews – prepare ring each day and work with facility for watering/dragging • Announcer assistant • Drivers/Hosts for officials • Paddock Masters – keep riders on time and control traffic to/from rings • Registration Desk – assist in registrant check-in • Lunch/Question Support (take tickets for lunch and assist during question time) • Floaters – will assist where needed

Any GMO that would like to apply for 2009 Region 9 Educational Grant funds,

Email to Bess Reineman email Seminars, Symposiums, Dressage camps, and related educational events will be considered. Clinics must be auditor & participator orientated, with lecture, or discussion sessions, with multi-educational opportunities.
