Nutrena® brand introduces new bag design for Life Design® horse feeds

MINNEAPOLIS – In response to customer demand for clearer labeling and tear resistant bags, the Nutrena® brand is rolling out new bags for its Life Design® horse feed line.

“We found out what was important to our customers and retailers and changed the bags to meet their needs,” says Deb Correll, Nutrena® brand manager. “People want more informative packaging that’s easier to read and holds up against wear and tear.”

The bags now feature a product description on the front of the bag, nutritional information on the back and product names along the bottom of the packaging so customers can easily locate what they need when the bags are stacked on the store shelf. The polypropylene bags are water and tear-resistant, which means customers have fewer bags breaking or being damaged by water.

The Life Design® line includes a range of products for horses throughout their lives and provides proper nutrition at every stage. Mare and Foal is formulated for pregnant and lactating brood mares, foals and yearlings; Compete is for equine athletes in their peak competition years; Prime for the maintenance of active horses in the prime of life; and Senior to address senior horse’s unique nutrition requirements.
