Donate, WAG and Feel the Silent Auction Love at the NARHA Conference
July 5, 2009Donate, SWAG and Feel the Silent Auction Love at the NARHA Conference
Denver-A saddle, a lovely afternoon sail, western wear-these are a few of the items people have already promised to NARHA’s 2009 silent auction which will be held at the National Conference and Annual Meeting November 18-21 in Fort Worth, Texas. The silent auction proceeds help NARHA support safety and professionalism in the community of special people and equines who offer equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) all over America and beyond. NARHA is looking for those wonderful people and businesses whose generosity will make this year’s silent auction a resounding success.
NARHA staff and volunteers are seeking premium silent auction items. The silent auction is always a fun-filled and high demand event of the NARHA Conference and Annual Meeting. Contributions will receive attention from all of the visitors in attendance-over 600 in 2008 and potentially more than 800 in 2009. Individual and organizational donors will be recognized on the bid sheets associated with their contributions; and they will be considered warmly by NARHA members, staff and volunteers.
Registration Bag Items
In addition NARHA seeks small items to place in conference registration bags. Each conference registrant receives a registration packet in a tote bag that contains their name tag, conference program, session hand-out CD and many welcoming goody bag items. Naturally anything that is equine related, is most popular with the NARHA crowd but that is not essential. This is an excellent and cost effective way put a little something into people’s hands that reminds them of donors’ products or services. Registration bag items are needed in multiples of 800. They must be received on or before October 1, 2009 to be used for the 2009 conference. In addition to the guaranteed, in-hand product placement, each donor’s name or organization’s name will be listed in the conference program.
