Bareback riding launched the Championship Finals with a winning ride by Tilden Hooper. The Carthage, Texas native, now living near Weatherford, scored 92 points aboard Calgary Stampedeโs Disco Party to secure the title.
Hooper earned $27,418 during the tournament and, after qualifying for his 10th Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in December, positioned himself well for another trip to Las Vegas.
