2012 NRCHA Stallion Service Online Auction Begins November 12
The annual National Reined Cow Horse Association Stallion Service Online Auction begins on November 12 at www.nrcha.com. The much awaited auction is known as a place where buyers can purchase a breeding to a top stallion – sometimes at a bargain price.
Garth Gardiner of Ashland, Kansas, who took over the reins as Chairman of the NRCHA Stallion Auction Committee in 2012, is enthusiastic about the great list of stallions offered. “We thank ALL the Stallion owners who have contributed to the 2013 NRCHA Online Stallion Auction. We realize that stallion owners are solicited for many benefits auctions and we certainly appreciate their support of the NRCHA by donating a breeding to this great association.”
Gardiner was also positive about the growth of the auction as far as new names being added to the list of stallions. He said, “We are excited to have 18 new stallions being offered this year in the Online Auction. Many of these are young stallions that continue to excel in the cow horse, reining and cutting arenas. Add those new sires to an existing list of stallions that have donated in the past. I’m certain that there is a stallion for every budget in this auction.”
One breeding from each of the listed stallions is sold to the highest bidder from bidding through December 12 at 8 pm. The starting bid for each stallion is half the advertised fee and bids are accepted via the auction page on the NRCHA Web site in $50 increments. Successful bidders will be notified by email on December 13. Gardiner added, “Of course even though the Online Auction begins on November 12 and continues through December 12, we have the ability to add new stallions at any time during the Online Auction. So if you would like to support the NRCHA by donating a breeding to your stallion, please don’t hesitate to contact me or the NRCXHA for a donation form.”
