January 12, 2011 Off By Roberta Johnston

SIRE is pleased to announce that Luis Cardenas of Magnolia will be awarded a SIRE belt buckle Friday, December 17, 2011. SIRE expresses gratitude to its hundreds of volunteers in part by recognizing various levels of service. The belt buckle marks the highest level of longevity, 5,000 hours of service, to SIRE and its clients. At the Hockley site, three other current SIRE volunteers have earned belt buckles through their efforts. In total, SIRE volunteers donate more than 30,000 hours a year, valued at more than $640,000.
