The SASHA Charity Horse Show Announces Martha Murdoch as Judge and New Arabian Classes for 2011!

The SASHA Charity Horse Show, a popular kick-off to each new show season, will be held March 4-6, 2011 at the San Antonio Rose Palace.

Martha Murdoch will be marking the cards for the Arabian division this year. We look forward to having her in the center of the ring before she heads off to judge the Arabian Youth Nationals later this year. The Saddlebred division will be judged by Brent Jacobs.

Martha will have the opportunity to judge several new classes in the SASHA schedule, including Championships for the Arabian/HA/AA Walk & Trot division. Based on exhibitor feedback, the Walk/Trot classes have been moved the beginning and end of the sessions to make it easier and safer for our young competitors. Please check out the new schedule so you can see what other changes have been made and we encourage you to take advantage of the Buy-A-Classes.

Due to popular demand, the venue for the SASHA Barn Party will move to the Scenic Loop Café, right next door to the show grounds, and will be held on Friday night so exhibitors have a chance to enjoy the charming town of Boerne and relax on Saturday evening. SASHA will be hosting the party this year as a special thank you to our exhibitors. SASHA supporters and exhibitors who have so generously donated to the party in the past are encouraged to sponsor classes at the show in 2011. Thank you!

Following the trend of many horse shows these days, the SASHA Charity Horse Show will be going “green” in 2011. The prize list, class sponsorship, Buy-A-Class and all other forms will be available at the show’s website at www.sashatx.org. Exhibitors, vendors and sponsors will receive a post card directing them to the website and are encouraged to use the site’s Paypal feature whenever possible.
