Manion, Hooper share lead

Kyle Manion and James Hooper shared the lead with 219 points after the first day of Non-Pro competition at the 2010 Borden Milk NCHA Futurity on Monday. Manion’s Calm Cool Smooth was bred by James McNulty, by Smooth As A Cat, out of Fruit Of The Boom. Manion also rode the mare to qualify for the Open Semi-Finals. Bred by Jim Vangilder, and purchased at his Rock Creek Ranch Dispersal last year, Hooper’s Dox Sugar Blue is by Mecom Blue out of Sugar Dox Com, who has already produced a pair of $100,000+ money earners.
