Added Money Doubles at NRHA AdequanR North American Affiliate Championship

Good news for 2010 AdequanR North American Affiliate Championship (NAAC) qualifiers – you’ll have more than twice as much money to run at this year! The National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Board of Directors approved a 111% increase in added money in eight NAAC classes.

AdequanR NAAC qualifiers are determined at eleven NRHA North American Regional Affiliate Finals (RAF) held in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. 15 classes are held at each U.S. and Canadian RAF with the top eight horses and riders qualifying for the NAAC. The NAAC is hosted at the NRHA Futurity in Oklahoma City. This year’s event is scheduled for November 25 – December 4 and includes the prestigious NAACTop Region Award Contest.

NEARLY $30,000 IN ADDED MONEY – Below is a list of 2010 AdequanR NAAC classes and added money:

$5,000 added Open ($3,000 increase)

$3,000 added Intermediate Open ($2,000 increase)

$500 added Limited Open

$500 added Rookie Professional

$5,000 added Non Pro ($3,000 increase)

$3,000 added Intermediate Non Pro ($2,000 increase)

$500 added Limited Non Pro ($300 increase)

$1,500 added Prime Time Non Pro ($1,300 increase)

$1,000 added Novice Horse Open Level 1

$2,500 added Novice Horse Open Level 2 ($1,500 increase)

$1,000 added Novice Horse Non Pro Level 1

$2,500 added Novice Horse Non Pro Level 2 ($1,500 increase)

$100 added Youth 13 & Under

$100 added Youth 14-18

$1,500 added Rookie of the Year

AFFILIATE FINALS DESIGNATION – All riders planning to participate in the North American Regional Affiliate Finals MUST designate to ONE affiliate to compete. Designations will carry over from year to year and will not be changed until a new designation is received in the NRHA office. The deadline to designate to the affiliate you intend to represent for the current year is August 1, 2010. Designations received between August 1 and December 31 will apply to the next calendar year.
