Featherlite Trailers is giving its straight load horse trailer customers another option when towing horses. At its 2010 International Dealer Meeting, Featherlite unveiled a new 4-horse configuration for its Model 9608 gooseneck horse trailer, along with the rest of the 2011 product line. All new models and enhancements are now available through Featherlite’s dealers.

“Many straight load horse trailers either carry two horses or six with no middle ground,” Randy Lewis, Featherlite national sales manager, said. “Offering a 4-horse straight load trailer lets our customers select just the trailer they need.”

In addition to its new 4-horse configuration, the Model 9608 offers new rounded LED clearance lights. These are smaller, brighter and easier to replace. New nylon bushings have also been added to the Model 9608’s horse dividers. These calm horses by reducing divider vibration and metal on metal contact.

The Model 9608’s 4-horse configuration has a 28′ length. Its width is 6’7″ and its inside height is 7’6″. The front dressing room has a standard 49″ length.
