Reminder to Reining Young Riders

May 7, 2010 Off By Roberta Johnston

Reminder to all interested Reining Young Riders-the final day of qualifying for the USEF Youth Reining National Championship is May 15. All qualifying points earned at qualifying classes around the country will be cut off on May 15, with any points earned from May 16 forward going towards next year’s championship. In order to compete for the National Championship title in one of the three age divisions (13 & Under, 14-18 and 19-21) riders must have earned their way into the top 20 of their respective division. The USEF Youth Reining National Championship is held at the NRHA Derby on June 26th along with a concurrent CRI-Y class, which will serve as a Selection Trial for the hugely popular SmartPak Reining Championships at the Adequan FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North.
