Zephyr’s Garden Teams Up With Tennessee Walker Champion
February 2, 2010A “Natural” Tennessee Walker To Represent NWHA in Kentucky This Summer!
Another “natural” equine athlete joins the Zephyr’s Garden team, as Craving Blue, owned and ridden by Elissa Dauberman, heads for Kentucky this summer for the World Equestrian Games. Craving Blue, a Tennessee Walking Horse, was chosen by the National Walking Horse Association (NWHA) to represent their breed in an exhibition routine to highlight this outstanding Tennessee Walker to the world.
Why was Craving Blue chosen? For starters he holds 27 National Championship titles, was 2008 PA Pleasure Walking Horse Association ‘Horse of the Year’, has been the National and State High Point Champion multiple times, and was the 2007 National Overall Champion. What’s even more impressive is that Craving Blue embodies what a true and natural Walking Horse was meant to be. With the NWHA’s mission to end the abusive behavior associated with competitive Tennessee Walkers, Ms. Dauberman and Craving Blue are the perfect pair to show the world that you can win with natural talent and natural horse care.
Ms. Dauberman purchased Craving Blue as a 2 year old and the pair has never parted. From the very beginning, she has done all the training, showing, and care for her horse, including all grooming at shows. “What sets Blue apart from other Tennessee Walkers is that he’s 100% natural,” states Ms. Dauberman. “I have him either barefoot or keg shod, never use drugs or calmatives, never apply chemicals to his body, only use Zephyr’s Garden natural massage oils, liniments, and fly spray, and have employed Monty Robert’s natural horse training techniques since the day I purchased him. He’s such a spoiled boy. Without all the artificial “aids” that is the norm in the industry for our shows, Blue’s natural talent, athleticism, and personality really shines.”
“Ms Dauberman became a friend the moment she ordered her first Zephyr’s Garden product,” said owner and founder Georgette Topakas. “She was inquisitive about the products, their use, and how they were made. Her interest level was above most consumers and we formed a friendship over our love of our horses and using natural products. To be able to support her and Craving Blue at such a prestigious event is an honor and a golden opportunity to highlight our products to the world. Having Craving Blue join our team of sponsored equine athletes is yet another testament to our philosophy that you can be at the “top” of your equine game and still practice natural horsemanship and horse care.”
Being chosen by the NWHA to participate in the World Equestrian Games is only the first of step for Craving Blue and Ms. Dauberman toward making it to the WEG in Kentucky this summer. The pair is actively seeking additional sponsorships to turn this dream into a reality. If you, or your company, are looking to sponsor a truly natural and talented equestrian team, this is your opportunity to get huge exposure at the World Equestrian Games.
Ms Dauberman is proud to share her unique approach to Tennessee Walker horsemanship with interested parties. She can be contacted at 717-265-3422 or [email protected].
