Ariat Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

Ariat International, the leading manufacturer of performance equestrian footwear, apparel and belts, today named Dona Fisher as its new chief financial officer. She will join the company on January 11 and will be a key member of Ariat’s executive team. Fisher will report to Ariat’s president and chief executive officer, Beth Cross.

Fisher had been employed by Crayola since 2001. Most recently, she served as the chief financial officer where she was instrumental in building Crayola’s global business. In this role, she was responsible for worldwide finance, accounting, strategic financial planning and information systems. Previously, Fisher held chief operating officer, chief financial officer and various senior leadership positions at consumer products companies including Sun Apparel Company/Polo Jeans Company and The Franklin Mint.
Fisher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College, with a major in mathematics, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
