Purina Announces Exclusive Feed Sponsorship for the 2010 Winter Equestrian Festival

Land O’Lakes Purina Feed announces that it will be the exclusive horse feed sponsor of the 2010 Winter Equestrian Festival. The twelve-week long festival, which will run from Jan. 13 to April 4, 2010, takes place in Wellington, Fla., at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, owned and operated by Equestrian Sport Productions.

The Purina Mills Grand Prix is on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 and will showcase some of the top riders in the world in the jumping competition.

The renowned FTI Winter Equestrian Festival is the largest and longest running equestrian event in the world. During the twelve-week show circuit, the world’s top riders compete for close to six million dollars in prize money and awards. Teams of leading horse show managers from around the world have been assembled to create and operate these events. The Festival is attended by participants from 46 states and 23 countries, including many Olympians.

Some of the highlights of the Festival are the $500,000 FTI Grand Prix, FTI Riders Challenge, the CN Nations Cup, and the $50,000 CN Derby at the Stadium, the Battle of the Sexes, USHJA Hunter Derby, World Championship Hunter Rider Spectacular, George Morris Equitation Championship, and the $200,000 Exquis World Dressage Masters.
