Industry leader in daily dose supplement packaging celebrates its 10th Anniversary

PLYMOUTH, Mass. – (October 1, 2009) – SmartPakT, the industry leader in customized, daily dose supplement packaging, celebrates its 10th anniversary this October. What started out with four people working from a cramped room with only one computer between them, has turned into a company with over 300 employees in a 3 acre facility. Over the past ten years, SmartPak has served over 150 million supplements in SmartPaks. And in response to customer suggestions over the years, they’ve added a fully licensed pharmacy, thousands of horse care and stable products, along with a complete line of tack and riding apparel.

“What hasn’t changed is our passion – we set out to be a different kind of company, one that treated customers like we would want to be treated; and we wanted to solve problems to make it easier to take great care of your horse,” said Rebecca Minard, SmartPak founder. Listening to customers and acting on their feedback has been a key part of SmartPak’s success. “We have hundreds of conversations with horse owners every day about their needs and challenges,” said SmartPak CEO Paal Gisholt. “We use that feedback to develop new, innovative ways to help them.”

SmartPak has donated over $65,000 to breast cancer research through their own SmartPinkR line and over $25,000 to equine rescues and charities.
