Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – October 19, 2009 – Lil Ruf Peppy found his place in the National Reining Horse Association record books in 2006 when he became the sport’s 11th Million Dollar Sire. Over the past three years, his offspring continued their winning ways earning another million in the NRHA arena. Lil Ruf Peppy is officially an NRHA Two Million Dollar sire with offspring earnings exceeding $2,016,600. He is the 7th sire to be honored with this distinction.
Lil Ruf Peppy is a son of Peppy San Badger out of the Otoe daughter Rufas Pepy. Million Dollar Rider Tom McCutcheon piloted the stallion to an NRHA Limited Open Derby Championship and an Open Derby Reserve Championship in 1995. He is currently owned by the Lil Ruf Peppy Syndicate.
