New Claiming Division Offered at RHV Series

Oct 23 and 24, 2009…The 2009 Open Ranch Horse Versatility Contest Series will continue with an event in October in Burnet, Texas. Held at the Bluebonnet arena, the event will showcase all stages of the ranch horse competition, including cutting, working cow horse, trail, halter and ranch riding. Divisions offered at the show will include Open, Amateur, Youth, Green Horse, Novice Rider, Never Won A Buckle, and Mustang. A new division offered at this October show will be the Claiming Class. Ranch horses will be exhibited all day while the rider tries for the jackpot award, while prospective buyers are able to observe and purchase the horses offered in this class. It will be an opportunity to bring buyers and sellers together in a comfortable environment, and give everyone the chance to honesty show and sell their horse.
